The JobClock is a great timeclock for use in the field, where portability, ruggedness and “no wires” operation is a must. For many, the ease of use and the place-it-anywhere freedom that makes the JobClock ideal for outdoor locations also works in the rough-and-tumble office environment.

But what if you need the time punches at your office timeclocks to be visible to you immediately? Or you want to put lots of clock-in stations into offices without adding additional hardware? You need ClockPoint Kiosk.

The easy office solution

Simply install ClockPoint Kiosk software onto any PC that is on your office network (wired or wireless), attach a Keytab Reader (not included) via the USB port, and start the software. From then on, employees can touch their Keytabs or FastTrakkers to the Keytab Reader to clock in, just as they would on a JobClock. The PC can continue to be used for other tasks; ClockPoint Kiosk software runs nearly invisibly in the background, even if the PCʼs user is logged off.

Clock-ins are instantly in your database

When it starts, ClockPoint Kiosk automatically connects to the office PC running TimeSummit software. Each time someone clocks in, the time punch is transferred to the TimeSummit database over your network. Managers running TimeSummit can see those time punches in seconds and print up-to-the-minute timekeeping reports at any time.

Works at remote offices

If you have offices that are separate from where your TimeSummit database is located, no problem. If those offices are on your company network or are connected via VPN (Virtual Private Network), ClockPoint Kiosk works just as if your database is in the next room.

Flexible and portable - move it between offices

When you install ClockPoint Kiosk, you set a location that is used for all time punches at that PC. This setting is easily changed. Put ClockPoint Kiosk onto a notebook PC and create a clock-in station at a temporary office. Later, move the notebook to a different office, change the location name and you have a clock-in station for the new office in seconds!

PunchSafe protects employee time punches

ClockPoint Kioskʼs PunchSafe feature stores all time punches locally as a backup to guard against network failure. If for some reason your network connection goes down, ClockPoint Kiosk stays up and running. Any time punches that have not been sent to the TimeSummit database are automatically sent later when the network connection is re-established.
