Technology has made a huge impact on the construction industry. Technological advancements have paved the way for increased productivity and collaboration, improved safety and training, and a way to successfully manage worker shortages.
According to McKinsey Global Survey, the pandemic increased the pace of business and technology will be critical for companies as to what comes next. And the technology that will help businesses succeed in the future includes—according to ABC–innovations to recruit and develop people, win work and deliver work safely, ethically and profitably for the betterment of the communities in which companies work. It’s for this reason that the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) created its annual Tech Alliance.
What is ABC’s Tech Alliance?
ABC’s Tech Alliance was built to help drive ABC members’ ability to succeed through improved utilization of technology. The focus of the Tech Alliance is to introduce construction technology solutions to small- and mid-sized contractors and subcontractors.
For the last three years, the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) has hand-selected 14 construction technology companies to join its Tech Alliance. Arcoro is proud to have been selected to join the 2022-2023 consortium of firms that create construction technology and solutions.
According to ABC, the Tech Alliance companies will be integrated into the association’s long-term planning. They will collaborate on technology resources for the association, including a beta testing/free technology program and educational webinars focused on our mid-size contractors, and provide chapters with access to companies supporting our contractor members.
